350 TPI headers after engine in or before?
i have an 89 vette tpi that i changed to carbed and i have shorty headman headers. is it easier to put the headers on after the engine is in and everything is hooked up or put them on before the engine is dropped in?

It's probably easier to put them on after the engine is in the car. That way you don't have to worry about messin up your headers/ engine bay.

Put the headers on after the motor is in. I tried to put my motor in with the Heddmans on and they wouldn't fit between the frame rails. They slipped right in after the motor was in though. Word of advice to save you time, don't put the motor mount bolts in before you put the headers on because you will have to take them back out to lift up the motor to slip the headers in.

Have a couple friends hold the headders in place in the engine bay as you lower the engine in. It was the easiest headder install I ever did (1 3/4 SLP's)
