?'s about 400 sbc heads

Whats everyone, i built my 406 up pretty well and i still have the stock heads and crank, im thinkin about making a 383 with them, how good are those heads, would they be worth getting P&P and cleaned up to put on this engine, also about how much hp will the crank hold up to NA or even on a 125 shot? just want to build a little fun motor and look for something small to put it in like an s-10 or something thanks

Stock 400 heads are garbage, don't waste your time. I wouldn't bother having the journals on the crank ground to build a 383 either, considering how cheap and readily available 383 cranks are from the aftermarket.
