1986 Monte Carlo 305 to 90 'Maro RS?

So it looks as though I may be getting the motor and tranny out of a 1986 Monte Carlo Coupe. It's a 5.0L 305 4BBL with an automatic 700R4 tranny. My question to you guys is, what else would I need as far as motor mounts and computers are concerned? The main thing is the computer. How do they differ from V6 to V8?

The basics about V6 to V8 are covered here https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=229665 , including the motor mounts.

The computers will be completely different. Unless you swap over all of the LG4 computer controlled carb and ignition stuff, you won't have a computer to run the engine.

Your best choices would be to get all of the parts needed to put a '90-up V8 EFI system in, or go with a non-computerized carb system. The former is the only one that would meet the letter of emissions laws.
