Ok i got a few questions about doing this swap but first i figured i would introduce myself. My name is Ryan i am 18 and live in maine.
I have an 88 iroc with a 305 tbi and 5 speed tranny, t tops etc. The car is all stock, interior is pretty good, exterior needs a few spots fixed (bubble rust) and a paintjob, but thats minor i am not looking to build a show car here just a decent looking 3rd gen with some kick.

I have had the car for about a year and a half now and the 305 is just not doin it for me. My buddy has a 88 s10 5 spd with a 350 thats been bored and built and is runing around 320-330 hp what a blast this truck is. After riding in this a lot i decided i want a motor with about 300 hp to put in the camaro.

There are a few rebuilt 350's advertised around here from 900-1500 bucks and i am goin to pick one up soon i hope. I should be able to bolt in any 350 to the car and t5? What will i need to make the swap from my 305 tbi to the 350 carb motor and how hard is this going to be? Should be fairly simple right? Any help/suggestions about this is greatly appreciated. Also hows this tranny going to take the power change? Hopefully i ll have a motor soon and will be able to get started on this. I have been searching and reading a lot on this but wanted to get some answers i hadnt seen yet.
