Where to get LT1 re-program
I have considered getting an LT1 and converting it to an LT4 or something similar....
Where would I get the Engine re-programmed to accomidate the Changes?
I would do a search, but I am not sure what to search for.

Bryan at pcmforless.com is who did mine.
Ion at madz28.com is supposedly good too.
Lloyd Elliot I've heard does good work, and if you can make it to Oklahoma, he'll dyno tune it.
If its just minor reprogramming, you can order a cable from AKM Cables to hook up a laptop with TunerCat or LT1Edit and do it yourself. Or, if you just get the cable, there are a number of us on the board that would be more than happy to do simple stuff like program out VATS etc. for you for free.

Thanks Tex, I am somewhat familiar with programming my own ECM, I have the Pocket Programmer, TunerCat & TunerPro, Although I am not very good at it yet, I am familiar with it...
I was just under the impression that the 94+ LT1 was quite Different for programming...

Since your considering the swap, Texas was instrumental in helping me finish, and since then I spend some of my time now on the LT1 forums @ Camaroz28.com, very useful for combo's, troubleshooting and so on.

CamaroZ28 is definitely a good place to check out, some very good information over there, especially the PCM board if you are considering tuning yourself. Ion posts on there regularly under the name madwolf, and there are a number of people that are incredibly knowledgeable about the PCM for these engines.
