ok, so it'll fit in there just fine and eveything, what about strengthening the fram. Can i just unweld the subframe connectors and use those babies or what?
Especially since i have a t-top car!
But i wont worry too much, i'll strengthen it any way possible.

to "un-weld" you should start by taking out your trusty swiss army knife, get out that big 3 inch blade and start stabbing it continuosly until it comes undone.
Why would you want to take your subframe connectors out? They're not bad in any scenario...
Think about your suspension if anything man... gotta put that power to the ground.

n/m i understand why you want to "un-weld" the sub frame connectors, lol you want to put the ones from the 454 big block car onto yours. .
If you reaaally wanted to take those out you could take out your MIG welder and just burn them out... but you'd probably burn up the inside of the car, and more than likely take out part of the unibody frame.

I don't think your ducks are in a row.
It would be far easier and cheaper to go through the titling process than to drop a 454 into your car. If you're willing to modify your car just to accomodate a 454, rather than go through a titling process, then yea....Because subframes will be a concern yes, but so will your suspension, your rear setup, and your transmission.

Yeah you and me both. I am not going to call BS yet, because hey, sometimes things do happen. But looking back on history, and this story..............
Not only that, if you have a 454 in a thirdgen, why would you ask
Sounds just a little suspicious to me. No one is going to sell a thirdgen with 2 ft wide tires and a 454 that can pull wheelies for 200 bucks anyway. I better quit typing before I accidently call BS.

Can a 454 big block, fit easily in a thirdgen?
What kinda clearance issuaes am i looking at?

well you never know someone could be selling a 454 powered thirdgen for $200 bucks .....sure .....and monkeys might fly out of my butt......LMAO.......i was thinking about this earlier and if you have this kind of car sitting in your yard and you cant get a title on it then why would you sell it for $200 bucks anyway...
you can part out the car and get a couple grand easy with the stuff the car supposedly has in it ....hmmm sounds kinda fishy and like to me ..LOL...
or maybe he misunderstood him and the price is $2200 dollars not $200 dollars...LMAO
but regardless if your supposedly getting this car with a bigblock in it why would as stated above ask how hard it is to put a big block into a thirdgen when you will have a car with it in it anyway all you have to do is unbolt everything from one car and transfer it to the other .........
regardless i think this is another one of those threads where someone thought it would be neet to be able to post about somthing they read in a magazine or saw at a show or somthing else ..
prove me wrong and post pics of you and the car with the bigblock in it and ill personally appologize but i dont see this being a ligitamate deal and dont beleive the first car even exsists .....

Shane............... (looks up at the car g0ds and shakes head)......I am going to get into this again just for the benefit of the new people here that don't know your history of because once again you are wasting everybody’s time!
First off ........(looks up again, scratches head and think to himself theres so much I could start with hmmmm.......)well so I don't waste too much of my time, just read this post from the club you claimed to be a member of back in June which from this current post about your "new car "we see was total and as far as the rest I think the guys from the club you really “don't belong to” cover it all more of Shanes B.S.
lol, I also think this quote from someone that is from "your" club says it all

i saw this in one of the posts on the other board and couldnt help myself here it is ...it was a whole list of things .....but here is just one
"Fourth, get a clue Shane. You have no idea how far over your head you're about to go if you buy that car. All you're gonna do is end up with two non-running cars in the driveway that you don't even own. "
if that doesnt wrap it all up nice and neat .....LMAO...

I feel sorry for this kid, but he does it all to himself. He makes everyone so mad at him because of his questions and his "I'll ask for advise, but never use it" mentality.
I just don't get it.
Shane, most of us want to help ya, but you're really making it hard for us....
My personal fave: "Fifth, do you think anyone is going to loan you the expensive equipment you need for this project given how well you haven't gotten along with this club until now?"

Just going to make a useful post here ...
The engine itself will drop in fine. Its stuff like headers and accessories that cause the most problems. Sometimes the hood room (or lack of usually) can cause problems too.

I'm surprised that no one on that site, or this one has noticed what he wrote there...
QUOTE:
i'm not gonna do it illegally d00ds. my mom wont let me do that. I'll just iunno, get a loan from my parents to help me find a way to get the title.someone out there has claim on this car
I'm thinking about just buying it, and iunno... i want the parts in my car, cause all the camaros have the big engines, never the firebirds, so i want it in mine. Iunno, its s hard decision.

your real daddy wouldnt happen to be John Kerry would he? You seem to flip flop your story a lot . Anyways, even if this is legit, your 200 dollar car obviously isnt. Sure I've been on a tight budget before where I couldnt afford 200 dollars at the drop of a hat, still am, but it doesnt even sound like you have a job of your own man.
If you cannot afford the 30 dollars for the membership to river city f-bodys, then you certainly cant afford the 30 dollars to fill up your tank of gas every 50 miles on your 200 dollar car.
Start thinking a bit more realistically man.

"ti did a wheelie when the guy floored it down the road so its perfect" Oh man thats a funny quote... A car pulling the wheels on a dusty dirty street just by "flooring it"!?
C'mon man, quit living in fantasy land. Its cool to dream of what you'd like to do to your car - I did for 3 years non-stop but when you start attempting to make your FANTASIES a REALITY thats literally insane. You can't seem to comprehend the fact that nobody around here even likes you ...why you may ask? because of BS posts like this. Do yourself and everyone else a favor and GET REAL!
...Actually, all this time I've been reading your wonderful posts I'm HOPING you're some normal, sensible guy who is just playing one big joke on everyone and laughing along with us the entire time. If thats true, I thank you for the entertainment but if you're serious ...oh my

i hope he does i havent seen a street car do a 2 foot wheelie in a long time....LOL....
our 73 split bumper that we used to have would do a "wheelie" but it also had 500+hp and some serious cash in it .....not that it would pull a 2 footer...but i know it got em off the ground 10 inches and that about makes ya crap your drawers ...LMAO.....especially when your not expecting it to do it on the road ....
