I have a 86 Z28 with carb 305 and T5. I want to go with a TPI motor (not sure if I want to do a 350 or 383 yet, but I am leaning toward 383). I found an 87 IROC w/350 TPI and 700R4. Will that wire harness work in my manual trans car? I realize the T5 will have a short life with a 350 TPI and I plan on putting in a T56 when it blows up. What are the differences in PROMs between manual and auto cars? How can I get the PROM from a 350 car work with a manual trans? I tried to check this out with the search options but I just got error messages.

I belive the only difference is that the A4 wire harness will have an extra connector for the torque converter lockup. The only differece between the two proms should be the one for the automatic would control the torque converter as well. I'm not 100% sure but that should be the only differences.
