intake question

Car: 83-84 camaro, 95 formula firehawk
Engine: 305, 305ho, 350tpi, 350 lt1, 383lt1
Transmission: 700r4, t-5, t56, m6
Axle/Gears: 3:90, 4:10, 3:50, and more
intake question
i im planning on building eather a 383 stroker, or stroking a 400, not sure yet, but i do know i want to do FI. I was plannin on doing a tpi, but i im also kinda interested in the Lt5 intake and heads, and block, does anyone know where i could price some of these parts, i have found the hole LT5 out of the vettes, but was woundering if there was any aftermarket parts, like blocks heads and intakes........... so on, just a wounding!

i like summit... jegs is just.. i duno.. not the type of place i like to shop around at.. But summit is a bit pricey on some things. Shop around and even use google to find stuff. You'd be amazed at what google can bring up.

ok... i suggest you do a little research. the LT5 was a limited production dual overhead cam motor, and they are few and far between. Yes they did make alot of power, but trying to put an LT5 in a 3rd gen would be more trouble than it is worth. As far as i know LT5 componets will NOT bolt up to a standard small block Chevy motor.

i can tell you right now....... you dont have a LT5 anything.
if you had a LT1 you could put the LT4 topend on it...
or you could mod a LT1 intake to go onto your SBC.

Yea i know i dont have a lt5, but the duel over head cam, i find intriguing. thats y im woundering if there is any aftermarket blocks set up for this. I have done several searches, and as far as i have found, there isn't really anything.
