What oil do y'all run in your ZZ4?
My friend has a packet of documentation on the ZZ4 and it says that the motor calls for 10W40 year round. He uses 10W40 year round in his, and his runs great times and runs great, although he does blow some smoke when shifting during a race at red line. (That is probably only a result of 50-75+ runs on this motor)
I wonder what weight oil everyone uses in their ZZ4 crate motor. Here in NJ, it gets to 90+ in the summer and below 30 in the winter. There is no official handbook or manual for the engine and I want to use whatever is best... what do you think?

From http://www.gmgoodwrench.com/crate_eng/startup.shtml
"Change the oil and filter with 10W30SG oil and PF1218 ACDelco oil filter (PN 251605610)."
It's a little dated, but they link this to their crate engine page, which includes the ZZ4.
