LT1/ alternator conversion

Anybody out there know how to wire a LT1 alternator (1 wire) into a 85 firebird (2 wire). What wire do I need to use and what the heck do I do with the unused wire. Thanks for any help!

Easiest way to do it would be to use a 2 wires connector from a TBI-TPI Harness. Message me if you need one, I'm sure I have one lying around somewhere that I could send you for free.

My Lt1 alternator had 2 large red wires going to it. It also had 2 very thin brown wires. The large red wire that came from the plug on the back of the alternator, I hooked to the two large 'power feed' wires going to the bulk head connector into the car. The large red wire that went on the ring terminal from the back of the alternator, I connected to the battery positive side terminal. The two brown wires I connected together from the alternator and connected them to the brown alternator wire from the bulk head connector. I also ran another wire from the battery to these two 'power feed' (red) wires at the bulk head connector. To make these connections easier for myself, I got a small block from Autozone and put ring terminals on all the wires in case I had to change anything but it's been the same without any problems since I connected everything the first time.
