fuel sending unit for LT1 swap
I'm getting ready to do an LT1/4l60e swap into my '86 Firebird (LG4/700r4). I've been told that I need to get the sending unit out of the fuel tank of a TPI car. I'm having a little trouble finding one. Does the sending unit have to be out of one of the v8 TPI cars, or are there other cars that use the same unit? Thanks.

I'm sure you could get another sending unit that would fit, but i'm not sure which ones will.
The TPI fuel sending unit will work for sure though, that is what I used. I picked a whole fuel tank and sending unit from a TPI car for like 200$ canadian from an F-body wrecker.
