Throttle cable binding using Holley Stealth Ram.

I have a problem that the throttle body is not matching up too well with the stock 85-89 throttle cable hardware. The throttle body mounts to the HSR plenum "too far to the passenger side." This makes the throttle, tv, and cruise cables bind (they are angled) to meet up with the linkage on the throttle body properly. Has anyone experienced this? Throttle body is a lingenfelter 58mm (it uses the same external linkage dimensions as the stock tb).

Dang, nobody has this problem, eh? I know I heard about the HSR base being machined incorrectly. I wonder if my plenum was messed up? hrmmmm

Don't you hate it when something is supposed to bolt on (like stock TPI linkage) but it really doesnt? This kind of stuff actually adds up to a lot of the reasons I under-budgeted my project. Do you have a Lingenfelter TB? If not, what kind? I just ordered an accel to replace my Lingenfelter in hopes that I'll gain a little more hood clearance. We'll see if the throttle linkage lines up a little better on the accel. Thanks
