I know I know.... Sheeeesh
Some guys on here were looking for 4 banger replacements. Not a bad way to go. Yeah it's a little pricey (read a lot), but it's definately different. Not all 4 cylinders sound like Hondas, some of them actually sound good.
Man, where's my flame suit at.....

You'd have to have a head full of sand to do that in a street car.
But if you had an econo dragster, instead of a Pinto 2300 or Iron Duke or something...

It wouldn't be any worse than some of the people on here running Alcohol on "street cars" or 1000 hp TT SBCs. It could work. I'm just tired of seeing the same old thing everywhere I go. Maybe put a turbo on that little hummer and some double hump heads. Then fab up a sheet metal manifold, stand alone fuel controller and a boost referenced ign. I don't have sand in may head, just dreams....
LOL!!

No flame intended! As a matter of fact, I have an Iron Duke Camaro. And was looking for a replacement 2.5 or looking into a performance rebuild. The S10 forums say I couldn't get any better than LG4 performance with a rebuild. And of course, some folks say 300+hp can be had in a streat Iron Duke. I don't know what to believe now. Get this....a few told me to leave my car a 4-cyl due to the rarity.

Actually, I thought that engine was pretty cool! Just wish the price tag would go down.
