S/R torquer Heads
I have the 87+ S/R torquer heads. They have 76cc chambers and 170 cc runners. Is this good or bad. Want to run a fast quarter mile. The heads are decked a little bit. Someone said that the chambers are too big and my compression is not high. Are they talkin out of their a**?

well 76 cc is a low compression number, but sinced they got decked that should bring it up a bit.The lower the cc.the more compression, and more compression = more horsepower, but more compression can raise drivability issues and what kinda gas you can use.

My torquer heads are advertised at 67cc chambers but we check all the chambers and they were checking in between 70-71cc...... which would make your compression lower than you think

They did make the Torquer heads with a 67cc chamber but that was not the 87+ intake ones. Those only came in the 76cc chamber. yes, your right I think I'm only running about a 9:1 compression
