I dont know if anyone would actually want to do this, but I want to trade my T5 transmission for a T56. I do know that it isn't exactly an even trade, which is why I would even take one that needs rebuilt or put up a little cash. I just put in, what I was led to believe, a nearly stock TPI 350, which turned out to be bored out, have large intake runners, ported and polished heads, and not to mention the full true dual custom exhuast... So in order not to waste my time with blowing up the T5 I got, I put in a 700 R4 (which is reaching its breaking point). The T5 is a world class model and is from a firebird. I can't recall the number on it, but I can go look if anyone is interested. Yes, it is for a V8. Yes, it does work and doesn't need a rebuild. Thank you!
