Accel Variable Injector Controller (VIC) #74070

Looking for Accel Variable Injector Controller (VIC) #74070 new or used. I'm having a difficult time trying to locate one for sale. I found them for sale at YearOne.com but they want almost $500 for it. I paid less for the Accel DFI 6.0 complete set up. PayPal preferred please. Thanks.

Just curious why you're looking for a VIC?

Re: Accel Variable Injector Controller (VIC) #74070

I am about to install my Accel DFI 6.0 and 96 lb/hr low impedance peak and hold fuel injectors. Obviously I need it for the drivers and I would also like to have independent adjustability of the injectors. I have read that the MiniRam has variations in air/fuel ratio from cylinder to cylinder.

Re: Accel Variable Injector Controller (VIC) #74070

Joe - I've had problems with even air distribution on my MiniRam intake. I believe one mistake I made was not running an pcv system. I've recently installed a breather with a pretty free flowing pcv. I have another breather plumbed into the throttle body. This is very free flowing as well.

My theory is that the pcv system feeds air into the intake which the back four cylinders need. I'll be able to tell when I start to drive the car again. Too much snow right now.

My engine is force inducted via turbo. You say you plumbed a breather into the throttle body? Would this affect the engine under boost? I am also running a pcv system with a relocated breather tank.
