Re: WTB AC delete box
I've got a few of these parts hanging around,..... are you looking for a "complete" set-up ??
Let me know what you need from this list and I'll see what I can put together for you. Include your ZIP code so that I can get shipping quotes for anything you may be interested in buying.
Engine side heater box, wires, motor
Interior Firewall heater box - Cable activated
Heater controls - Non AC
Outside Air vents ( driver and Passenger side )
under column trim for air vents
Dash Housing - "1LE" (non/AC) with air non/AC air delivery box on back
Keep in mind - if you simply try and install a non-AC heater control I don't think you will not be able to control where the air is delivered from. The internal heater box in your car now is Vacuum controled and so is the heater control. By replacing it with a non/AC control you will need a cable internal firewall heater box to make the air come from the center vents - or the floor vents. Without the right box and control I think the air delivery will default to the defrosters all the time.
You can probably due without the outside air vents and the under column trim that opens and closes them - but you might need most of the other stuff to make it work right. When I do this swap I swap everyting so I can't tell you *Exactly* what to expect by only installing pieces of the set-up !
