Car: 1988 Mazda RX7
Engine: 350 L98
Transmission: T5
Axle/Gears: 4.11
WTB: V8 M/T starter, oil dipstick & fill tube, trans panel
Need a couple things to finish up my project car.
Starter
- V8 T5 trans
- stock flywheel
Oil dipstick and fill tube
- OEM oil pan, 1988 block
- passenger side tube
- need tube especially, would be nice to get dipstick all at once
Access panel that bolts to the bell housing to cover the flywheel. This needs to be from an older car. I am not using the 17 degree tilted bell housing, I am using the older "straight up" style bell housing found on early 80s and older model cars.
PM offers or email them to greg.cook@gmail.com
Paypal or Money Order available, sellers choice. I prefer paypal b/c it is quicker.

dipstick and tube are cheap at dealership
in 1980 the tubes and sticks changed and were moved to passenger side so you need to know what year/style you have/need
and 79 older there were a couple different ones too the hole in the block wasnt always the same size as another, i have found this out the hard way before
oil pan is dirt cheap too, i might have an 87 one in the attic, it is the same 86-95
starters dont matter if manual or auto trans
what matters is diameter of the wheel/plate you have
153 tooth or 168 tooth
two different starter nose cone bolt patterns
staggered bolts = large diameter
not staggered= small diameter
any chevy v-8s starter will work any years with the right nose cone
dust cover will be cheap at junkyard
older F bodies and 79 older novas and elkies and such
i never run one on my manual trans vehicles
just some ideas/info/pointers
good luck

Re: WTB: V8 M/T starter, oil dipstick & fill tube, trans panel
Thanks for all the info. I guess my post was a little confusing.
I am only looking for 4 parts technically:
The oil fill tube & dipstick for an 1988 350
The flywheel cover (found official name) for an older style straight up bell housing
A starter for a Camaro or Firebird w/ V8. I am using a stock 91 flywheel. I am 2 hours away from it so if tooth count varied then I will have to wait a week before I will be able to count.
Thanks.
