NOS SLP 2OTL cat back any interest???
i just picked up a set of new old stock SLP headers, and y pipe for my 92Z and I ended up buying a brand new never installed 2OTL stainless catback as well with them. I am planning on doing the GMMG chambered catback on my car, as I already have it. I would love to keep this 2OTL setup just as a cool piece to have in the shop, and maybe for later down the road, but figured I would post up here and see if anybody was seriously interested in it, and I would pass it onto another fellow enthusiast that could put it to use. Feel free to make offers, I can post pics tomorrow, and totally willing to ship as long as it's paid for. I'm in Portland Oregon.

Re: NOS SLP 2OTL cat back any interest???
Well I honestly don't know what it's worth now a days. I have been away from the third gen world for a while, and dug my car back out last summer and am just getting back to messing with it. I'm not looking for Barrett Jackson prices at all. But I am not looking to give it away either. What's some opinions on what it's worth?

Interested as well but kind of depends on which intermediate pipe it has with it.

I AM kidding! Many people want to sell something but never put a price on it and say "make offer." Just figured I would make an offer.
I don't want it.
Good luck though.

Would the 4 bolt flange not just be cut off in most catless installs??? I don't know too much about the fit, and or differences in the kits.

$1500 was high , but you should be getting somewhere in the $8-900 range . I deal with a lot of nos parts as well as SLP parts . A lot of guys will try to tell you different because they want something for nothing , the whole setup you have is worth somewhere in the range of 2 grand . If you let it go below $800 you're giving it away

1500, 800, or two grand? Which is it? Why would 1500 be high if you go on to say its worth 2 k? And then you say 8-900. Im confused.

Get real guys. It's a catback. SLP stuff wasn't the best made, or highest end, super-engineered line of parts. Aside from nostalgia, there's nothing about the SLP catback that makes it worth more than a new Magnaflow setup. Some dork would probably pay far out the *** for an SLP cat-back, that doesn't mean it's worth what that dork would pay.
Anyone who'd pay $2,000 for a catback exhaust should have their head examined.

Re: NOS SLP 2OTL cat back any interest???
$900 isn't $2,000. Doesn't necessarily mean an SLP cat-back is worth $900 either. On that day, to that buyer, it was worth it. Generally speaking when a collector buys an item, they probably aren't as likely to buy another one for the same money. Therefore the market potentially changes from one sale to another.
I'd rather have $2,000 than an SLP catback. Maybe it would sound like I was trying to get something for nothing if I actually tried to get the item in question.
