Re: LT1 Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch
Bought it from a member on LS1tech.com. Decided to go with an LS motor so the clutch is going. Transmission got traded a few months ago.

Re: LT1 Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch
Well, crap. Now you guys have me wondering. Since I never used the unit and the seller told me it was for an LT1, I assumed that's what I had. I will double check but I think it's 11".
sideways87...your right. It doesn't look to be pull. Was there any LT1 that was push?
Sorry guys. As you can tell by my seller rating, I don't sell junk or make crappy deals. All I have for sure is this unit is in very good shape.

Re: LT1 Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch
If you can let me know size for sure, still interested. shipping to 44446?
easy way i tell is old style says the flat side toward flywheel and lt1 is the hub side toward flywheel.

Re: LT1 Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch
Going to try and find a part number tomorrow but it's looking like an 11" SBC clutch like the link below. Guess I would feel ripped off if I would have tried to use it but it's just a matter of making a positive ID.

Re: LT1 Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch
Anyway, I don't think this clutch is for a LT1 now. I need to verify. Then I'll either update this post or start a new one with the correct information.

Re: LT1 Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch
Don't know what to tell you guys. Every piece of research I've done says that this clutch is indeed for an LT1. The part number is Centerforce Dual Friction DF039020. If you Google Image this, you'll see the exact same clutch. Every single image of the DF039020 is this clutch. The disc is a 26 spline unit also supporting the fact that it's LT1. It is an 11" unit.
So...question. Are there both LT1 pull and LT1 push type clutches? I've done Google Image search on stock LT1 clutches and your all right. Doesn't look the same.

Re: LT1 Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch
You nailed it sideways87. So I'm taking this off the board. It is not for an LT1 but for an LS. I can use it myself if I can find the appropriate flywheel. Sorry for the confusion everyone. I'm embarrased that I didn't have my facts straight but I'm a newbie to anything unrelated to Gen I smallblock stuff.
