Black Powdercoat Vortec FIRST intake ( Gauging interest )
As title states, I have a Vortec FIRST injection intake that is powdercoated black. It currently is installed on my 383 and has almost 2000 miles of use on it. It was purchased in Feb 2009. When I return from the deployment I am on next month I will be removing it to install a Holley Stealth Ram.
Just putting it out there that I will be selling this once its removed mid to late March.
It will include the base, runners, plenum and throttle body. Will also include hardware and an Aeromotive Adjustable Fuel Pressure regulator.
Asking $700 OBO...
Pics below... The pressure gauge installed in AFPR is NOT included with sale

Bump for a good deal, too bad it has the vortec pattern, other wise I'd be all over this.
Just out of curiosity, why are you switching to Stealth Ram?

Would the runners fit on a stock type base, instead of using the Vortec base?

I dont have an accurate answer on that. I believe they would. AFAIK, the bolt holes and the ports on the base are the only difference between the two. I will contact Ken at FIRST and find out. Then will post answer here.
Curious to know why you ask...

am I seeing that right... the regulator is plumbed between the inlet and return lines on the strut tower and then you just ran a single line from the end before the diaphragm to the manifold (the fuel doesn't flow across the rails)?
If so, how did it run? Roughly how many hp are you feeding like that?

Ok guys...
I am back from my deployment and am ready to sell this thing. I am currently waiting on one person to reply whether or not he still wants to buy this from me. Otherwise this will be removed within the next few days and be prepped for shipping.
Will come with the regulator seen in the above pics. The TPI waterneck as well. Also will come with the braided fuel lines that are attached to fuel regulator as well. Is about 6 ft worth of line and -6AN black straight fittings.
Asking $700 shipped to lower 48. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii is negotiable.
