AFR eliminator 195 heads tpis miniram
Selling these because i am upgrading to the competition ported 195s (i have a 1206 miniram sitting on the shelf). heads have about 1000 miles on them. they are the street port version (pn 1040) I had them milled to 58cc at afr before they were shipped. also upgraded the studs to 7/16 and the valvesprings to pn 8019. never flowed them, but on the engine dyno my 396 made 540 horsepower on one pull with absolutely no tuning with these heads! asking $950 for the heads. miniram is a 1204 port size and is unmolested. i will also include the fuel rails and regulator. asking $750 . if a buyer wants both and is willing to come pick it all up, i will let the heads and intake go for $1500

may I ask what setup you have in your 396 to make that power? intake, cam? where you using this tpis intake? I just purchased a HSR for mine. I'm piecing together my small block right now for a 383 and desktop dyno claims i'll be making a little more than that, but it requires having the 210 AFR competition heads and a HUUUUGE .564/.570 cam with 110 lobe separation angle. that's gonna be a bit extreme for a comfortable street car. I'm very curious how your combination compares to have HP numbers like that with smaller heads (the program probably just isnt accurate)

Re: AFR eliminator 195 heads tpis miniram
Guess i shouldve posted more specs. here it goes:
396 shortblock (4.030" bore 3.875" stroke)
11:1 compression
zz-x cam with 1.6 rockers (.595" intake, .596" exhaust)
hooker 2210 headers
1204 miniram
42lb injectors
58mm tb
heads were bolted on out of the box with felpro 1010 gaskets (.039") and the block was zero decked
dynod 540 horsepower at 6300 rpm where we stopped pulling (may have made more)
also made 491 lb ft of torque at 5300 rpm.

you only ran a 12.90(unless you have not updated your signature) with that combo?

12.9 on a stock L98????? nitrous? insane gears?
I asked because the 383 I wanna build I'm thinking of using some AFR 210s with a comp cams .564/.570 cam and I was informed I'd get around 540 or 550hp with 10.5:1. I dont think that's gonna happen though, considering you are using more displacement and a more aggressive cam with higher compression.
were you able to use pump gas on that motor?
