carb enclosure base DOMINTAOR RARE one off 8m005-010
To the best of my knowledge, this is a one off, ultra RARE, Vortech DOMINATOR carb enlcosure bottom. Part number 8M005-010
I was able to obtain this off of a shelf over at Barry Grant's R&D shop. I believe this was made by Vortech for R&D over at Barry Grant Demon carbs and then NEVER put into production due to lack of mainstream demand.
The two great things about this, you can go fast with it OR collect it: If you are running a vortech carb enclosure 8M205-028 for holley 4150 style carbs, then all you have to do is upgrade to this base for use with a DOMINATOR and some serious hp. The 4150's have limitations. Also, as a rare one off, it is an instant collectable investment. I cannot find the part number anywhere, all i know is that they were thinking about producing it and never did. There is an article in hotrod magazine online that talks about the dominator base and its possible production, you can google "vortech carb enclosure dominator hot rod" to read it.
I know somebody out there needs this base. Rare stuff like this doesnt last.
This is universal and will fit with the 8m205-028 lid and hardware.
