Edelbrock Performer 600 carb w/electric choke
I've got an Edelbrock Performer 600 carb (electric choke) for sale which has worked very well for me. I stored the car over winter with too little gas in it. When I got the car out this year, and filled the tank it began stumbling and running rough. I took it to my mechanic and he blew some air into the idle jets and got it running perfectly. (I foolishly didn't have a fuel filter on the car) He told me that if it ran rough again, it would likely need a tear down to clean out whatever may be lodged in it. Sure enough after a few miles of driving it became rough again. His cost to install a rebuild kit (and the cost of the kit as well) is more than the cost of a refurbished Performer 600 from Jegs. So, I got the rebuilt unit from there, and have installed it. Thus, I've got this carb for sale. I'm asking 100.00 for it. Cost of the rebuild kit is about 35.00. It's in very good condition and has been trouble free until this year.
If you can rebuild carbs, I feel this is a decent deal for a good product.
