USPS is cheapest , Fedex / UPS too expensive down here.
Check here , set up for Aust
http://ircalc.usps.gov/default.aspx?...ngle&CID=10013
Wiring loom and small parts put in a USPS Flat rate box
$42 for up to 20lb anywhere in the world

Re: 87 MAF TPI Complete with Painless Wiring (TX)
awesome.
Conversion rates suck.
Will you take $430US and cover the shipping?
Also what size injectors does it have?
And does it come with the distributor etc?
And lastly, whats the white powdery looking stuff on the intake pics?

It has the standard 19lb injectors. Does come with the distributor. The white stuff is whats left of some cleaning stuff I used on the intake. Comes with everything other then fuel pump and vss sender. Won't commit on the price yet until I find out what shipping will be. I've been burned in the past with shipping cost.

Re: 87 MAF TPI Complete with Painless Wiring (TX)
no worries then
just let me know.So long as shipping's not too much consider it sold.
If you can't get back to me with the exact cost within 48 hours I'll still definately get it, and I'll send a deposit to hold it and get it in 2 weeks if thats cool?
Just got other bits to get for the car, if i can get this with this pay then i'll cancel the dyno tune, if not I'll do the dyno, give u a deposit and pay the rest in 2 weeks?

What's your zip or postal code? Gives me a better idea of shipping cost. I just got a quote from USPS and they wanted $265 to ship to Australia. I know when I use to ship stuff back home to England I use to send it surface but they don't offer that service any more.

Re: 87 MAF TPI Complete with Painless Wiring (TX)
that sucks.
That ends up being almost double price. I mean its a great deal but I dunno if I'm willing to pay $640US or AU$970 for the same intake i've already got.
Highest I'd go is $US460
Sorry man, but its out of my price range for now

Would you take $560US including shipping?
And if so do you know if the shipping includes customs?

There is no customs duty into Oz on mail items under A$1000
As the man said , they no longer do surface mail to Oz;
Airmail only so that is the penalty for owning performance cars down here
2Kg from USA =US$50 air mail cost
Why are you replacing TPI intake with same?
For same post cost could get a HSR or SR

Re: 87 MAF TPI Complete with Painless Wiring (TX)
The short answer is spares.
I'm looking at doing an upgrade in july with tax return to get about 450hp under the hood, but in the meantime the car is just running rough, and not keeping a stable amount of power, the bottom end is 12 months old (290hp crate motor apparently) so i'm guessing my problem is in the top end(TPI) which has been transplanted from motor to motor. I could spend the $5000 on the HSR....but why bother?
$5000 will almost buy my a 460hp crate motor from suburban imports.
The main appeal of getting this is to get the whole tpi and get everything checked out, all the gasket and seal kits i need get the injectors tested and possibly replaced with 30lb injectors or at the very least 24lb ones, and then when I put it in I know everything on the top half is working as it should and I don't have to have the car off the road for weeks.
Everyone that owns these seems to have another daily driver... what's the point of buyin an awesome car like these and only driving it on the weekend if the conditions are right???
I'm not a mechanic so everything I do needs to be electronic or a few bolts here and there. This way i just bolt it on once i'm done, take it to the dyno guys, get them to tune it and done.

Re: 87 MAF TPI Complete with Painless Wiring (TX)
Cost more than that for big TPI base and runners that will make less Hp.
Always for sale on 3rd Gen.I got mine with new 30lb injectors A$900 landed in Oz.
You are not going to get 450Hp with stock based TPI.
Read this. They only got 400Hp on a 383 with BIG cam and stock TPI.

I don't on account of fuel prices but my 383 HSR could be a DD; perfectly streetible and running 12.0 on ET Streets w 3.07 gears.
Stock retuned GM ECM ; no expensive aftermarket ECM.
There was a near complete TPI setup on OZ eBay last week that went for A$250
