Play with the big boys. Supercharged 468 big block for sale. Peoria, IL

If somebody wants a pump gas supercharged big block (468 Chevy) I'm pulling mine from the car. My car is too pretty and I just can't bring myself to cut the hood for the supercharger. This engine is stuffed with quality parts because I built it for myself. Crower blower cam, roller rockers, Fluidamper, deep sump pan, bigger push rods, TRW forged pistons, ARP bolts, March serpentine pulleys, etc etc. Power is likely between 550 - 600 Hp and torque will be huge. I have both a flex plate and flywheel depending on what kind of transmission you want. I also have custom made Tri-Y headers from Lemons Headers that dump right next to the transmission pan ($$$).

Asking $6000 with headers and supercharger. Fuel injection available separately for $500 but is undersized for the needs of the engine. The buyer of the engine has options to also purchase a MSD BTM ignition controller with in-cab boost timer and dual stage rev limiter, and PA Racing adjustable coil over front suspension with big block springs.

I should add that the engine has a few thousand miles on it. It was originally in a show truck running naturally aspirated. I made a few tweaks and the following parts are new.

camshaft / lifters
pushrods
roller rockers
roller timing chain
Fluidampr
headers (every big block person at this site would kill for these headers)
March pulleys and brackets

Engine has not been run so you will need to go through a proper camshaft break in procedure. Supercharger is used and needs a rebuild. I have a seal kit for the rotors.

It's a Holley Projection 4Di with 900 cfm throttle body. It works best on engines between 350 Hp - 500 Hp. The system is about 8 years old but has only 200 miles on it. I ran it for just a few weeks on a '68 El Camino when I sold that car and kept the fuel injection for a future project. I never trimmed any wires so it looks like new. I also removed the original barbed fuel line fittings and replaced with -AN fittings. Fuel regulator has a new gasket. I didn't trust the old one seeing as it was exposed to fuel at one time.

It is complete from head to toe including sensors, ECM, fuel pump, and tuning software. Bolts onto any carb manifold with the square flange. It uses standard GM sensors so parts can be serviced easily. The O2 sensor was cross threaded (dumb exhaust guy) so you will need to replace that. Cheap part at any auto store.

I will send you a picture of everything if you send me your e-mail address.

why don't you just buy a yunk jard hood to cut up and use, store your 'pretty' hood in the garage?

I meant the car is pretty with the current hood line. I don't want the blower poking out. It was a boy racer dream and I'm just not after the same dream any longer. It also costs a lot of money to make a matching hood with the lacquer paint job on that car.
