I've got 2 LS1 engines for sale. Im a fairlynew member to this site but definitly not to the f-body world. Big seller on ebay and on ls1tech. doing my own 3rd gen ls1 t56 swap here in about 4 months so i will be all over this board.

What i've got for sale:

1- 2000 Ls1 engine out of a trans am. 84k miles. comes complete as a motor can. all wiring, ecm, sensors, pan-intake, all bolted on accessories, manifolds, etc. $1900+shipping.

2- 2002 LS1 engine out of a trans am. 100k miles. comes complete just like the other motor. asking $2300+shipping.

why could't you post this before i bought an lt1/t56? good luck with the sale, might try putting it up on wichitaracing.com, mofbody.com, and ksfba.org for a more local sale.

One is 2 years newer, but 20,000 miles more, and you want $400 more, for the higher mileage one?

Were they (either one) T56 or 4L80E equipped cars/ECMs?

 

2001+ engines had better oil pumps, better heads (241), better intakes (ls6), and stronger rod bolts. thats why they cost more. the intake alone is worth $300 more than the traditional ls1. ECM's are included. both engine harness's were for 4L60E (auto) cars.

 

do you still have any engines for sale? I live in Lincoln Nebraska and would be interested in a decent deal and pick up in Lincoln.

Bump for tuesday. all i've got left is the 02 LS1. have an auto trans for it to if someone is wanting a complete pullout.

 

everyone knows that the ls6 intakes are garbage. They flow horribly and thats why the gto guys instantly change out those intakes.

 

What are you talking about? the LS6 is the best intake GM made that came stock on ls1 motors. The original 98-00 ls1 intake sucked. The LS6 flows much better and is equivalent to a BBK just doesnt have the heatsoak issues. It doenst compare to the fast, but its also not a $1000 intake either. i dont think you know what your talking about.

 

You must be high! Thats why everyone replaces their ls1 intakes with ls6 intakes. They flow so horrible yet you can run over 1000rwhp with them.

Thats it he IS high LS6 intakes are usually worth about 10hp over a ls1 and IIRC all 01 and later ls1 had the better "LS6" intake on them EVEN the GTOs the LS2 had a 90mm but still werent as good as the LS6 intakes

seems like you got some good stuff and an excellent reputation both here and ls1tech.com.

i'm searching desperately for some ls1 fbody accessories. i need the alternator, power steering pump/reservoir/lines, and the brackets/hardware that bolt those onto the motor. i don't have much cash at this point in the game (i'm doing the knickle and dime buttoning together portion of the project...wow this has been expensive!) however, i do have some decent stuff to trade. or if you do have the stuff and don't want what i have to offer, then i'll see about getting more cash. let me know if you have any of that stuff please.

 

Actually im in need of a bunch of the same stuff you are currently for my 3rd gen swap im about to do. i dont like to part out complete motors if i dont have to. Sorry i cant be of any help. about the only thing i have accessory wise would be an extra A/C compressor and bracket.

 

haha nice pressure washer! my dad has a hotsy. they're absolutely amazing! i wish i had the money because i would've gladly taken one of those engines. i live in Lincoln and everything.

 

I've got the 02 motor left if your interested. At least you wouldnt have to pay for shipping. Yeah the hotsy kicks ***. Acutally its not mine, but a guy i did an engine swap never used it and he pretty much said if we store it for him, we can use it. Beats the hell out of our regular pressure washer we have.
