Re: GEN II LT1 ENGINE PARTS F/S

I don't have a minimum I need for any of the parts, just want to get rid of them since we're moving into another shop and that will be one less motor to move, so I'm really open to any offer. Did you want to see pictures of the heads and then make an offer?

If you still have lt1 heads? Will they fit on 87 L98 Iroc 350, or Gen 1 block?

They will physically bolt on, but the heads are reverse cooling and will not function properly.

Re: GEN II LT1 ENGINE PARTS F/S

heads will need to go on a lt1 block to work right, the coolant is sent from the w/p up to the top of the motor right away, unlike a gen 1 sbc.

green can you pm me your zip code so i look up a shipping fee.

i'm really not going to turn down any offers on these parts guys.

Re: GEN II LT1 ENGINE PARTS F/S

Alright, today on the shelf wrapped up in a bag i found the cam from this motor. It's the 242 cam, which has the bigger pilot hole and longer pin. it's the HO cam for the 95-97 aluminum head lt1 motors. so this is up for grabs also.

ok here's a rough asking price since offers aren't coming in. i'm in a hurry. everything is obo.

block - $100
intake assembly - $50
cam - $10
timing cover - $10
all rods/pistons - $30
parts box with brackets/misc. - FREE
oil pan - $10
valve train parts - $15-20?
crank - $20
valve covers - $5/pair
heads - $300 - pending with green

Re: GEN II LT1 ENGINE PARTS F/S

is 95012 california? your location says CO. anyway it lists shipping at $60 online, but i know that is way too much, it was $25-30 last time i shipped 2 cast iron vortec heads to oregon. so I'd say $30 shipping, i always refund extra shipping if i don't use it all.

i had two PM's for the cam. the cam was pulled from a running motor, bagged and put in the bottom corner of the big parts box with the small parts boxes in it, so nothing heavy or damaging sat on it, i did not mic the lobes, i just inspected for grooves or scratches on the lobes and journals, I didn't see anything noticeable, I will look it over again today and try to mic it if i get the chance.

replied to PM's.

Re: GEN II LT1 ENGINE PARTS F/S

95012 is CA. I just moved to Monterey Area. I have been doing a but of research on the heads. I have a TPI intake that I want to use but the pattern is different. I bought it from Summit a while ago. I am trying to see if they will let me exchange it for the matching intake. Can you hang on to the heads for me? I will get back with you on Friday. One question though, what is bump?

Re: GEN II LT1 ENGINE PARTS F/S

eh, some people post "bump" to bump their topic back to the top of the 1st page the forum, as it had reached the bottom of the 2nd page. I'll hang on to the heads til friday.
