Transmission: TH-700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.73
350 Block for sale machined and Ready to build.
I have a fresh from the machine shop 350 4-bolt main for sale.
It is out of a 78 c-10 4x4 truck. For any of you (that is the thickest walled block GM has yet to offer)
4 bolt mains, line hones, and fully machined 60 thousandths over.
Block was ran for 4 months then tore apart and all parts sold from it. It was then hot tanked and cleaned and checked for any cracks.
New brass freeze plugs and clevelite 77 race cam bearings were installed. The blocked was then painted primer gray.
This is ready to be built up again.
I'm located near Sterling, IL 61081
asking $350 OBO and open to any and all reasonable offer. Pictures came out over exposed and makes it look like there is rust in the pics. There is only LIGHT surface rust which literally wipes off with just a finger.
This would make a perfect blower or nitrous block. The block was clearanced for a 400 crank so it could be used as a 383 as well if one wanted to do so. It was also "casting flash" cleaned. What that means was the machine shop used a grinder and removed any flashing and radiused the oil drain holes for better efficency.
The only issue on this block at all is there is One timing cover bolt hole that needs to be re-drilled and tapped. I stripped out a few of the threads so instead of just leaving it be, I had the machine shop drill the hole slightly larger and use industrial expoxy to fill the hole. Since then I never retapped the hole. Only like 5 threads were stripped but i'm a perfectionist so I had it fixed.
main caps are included just not pictured.
Buyer also gets new gaskets as well.
