this was on my 92 formula with long tube headers. It has a flowmaster y that makes it from the 2 to one about 1/2 way up the car. I cut the dual 2.5 pipes off it as they would be custom to the type of header but do have them still. Taking offers as I have no clue what to it for. I think it was 800 new. It is the older one with a flowmaster bigblock outlaw muffler that sounds great. I am going to a turbo set up and dont think I need it and can get away with a 3 inch again with a straight through dyno max. Do you have pictures of the exhaust on the vehicle? I want to see if it will clear my subframe connectors and 9" rear end. How much are you asking for the exhaust? I am still trying to decide if I am going to go with three inch duals or a single 4" exhaust. I live down in Orlando.

 

I cut most of it off already. I can take pics of what is left and post tomorrow. I had it on a 94 with a 9 inch and sub frames so should be ok unless you have something out of the ordinary. What is there is a flowmaster 2 into one y pipe that connects duals up to the single 4 inch. I liked it better on this car as I could get the gasses out the rear and not have resonation of having dumps. I have duals on my 96 and hate them but when you cant get tail pipes out the rear you have to deal with it. If I wasnt selling it I would put the 4 inch on it but that car is for sale and no more work is getting done on it. Ill get some pics up tomorrow.

 

Is it dual exit or single, how old is it, and how much rust does it have?

 

no rust at all I live in FL. Single out and it is around 6 yrs old. here are some pics. Also I might add that it was one of the best upgrades I did to the car once I had the 383 in it. Seat of the pants gain was pretty big. Just shows how much a 3 inch restricts vrs a good dual set up but this is the next best thing to keep some ground clearance and get the smoke and noise out the back.

 

Would you include the dual 2.5 pipes, and what headers did you have, I plan on getting hedman LT. I live in FL too, and my flowmaster catback has some rust issues, but it is nearly as old as the car, my bro's flowmaster 40 on his LT1 was completely rusted out when he bought it so we had to replace it, just checking you never know.

 

How much do you want for this if I come up and pick it up? If I was to purchase this from you and pay you right away how long could I leave the exhaust where it is? It may be a month or so before I have time to drive up to Jacksonville.

 

I will throw in the dual 2.5 pipes too. I had a set of lt1 headman headers on it that were a little longer than the l98 ones. I think headman. They were cheap and bigger than most l98 ones so I used them. As far as price I have had a ton of people ask that. I sold my last flowmaster 3 inch set up for 150 used and paid 280 I think for it. this one I think I paid 600 for quite a few years ago. Was for a dual cat car but cut some of it back to make it work with dual pipes paid 100 for the new pipes. So think 300 would be a fair price. It doesnt have a spec of rust as this car stays in the garage most of the time. It is fully welded and not sliped and clamped together as it was from the factory. If you have a 3 inch set up that you can trade I will consider it as with the turbo I am going with a dyno max race muffler and the turbo really doesnt need that big exhaust. So really will need the over the axle part of the 3 inch and can add a muffler. I have alot of people intrested so want to hear deals before I decide. Also if yo want to come get it I will hold it for as long as you need as long as it is paid for. My ears are open to who is still interested. I went over there and priced them and the run about 600 new for most setups but if going with long tubes you would have to mod it a bunch like I did to this one. also that flowmaster dual 3 inch into single 4 inch y was over 100 bucks from summit. I had told someone I had 800 in it and now realize how I came up with that as I saw on the page only 600 for the kit. Forgot about the flowmaster y pipe until now. I will try to keep up with emails as I need money quick to finish paying for my turbo.
