Chevy mild performance 355ci 5.7L engine

I pulled this 350 motor about two months ago and decided to sell, as I want a roller block for my 87 iroc.

Engine started as this:

Build completly stock, had about 9,000-10,000 miles put on it in a light duty pickup truck in a year. Was pulled after pickup truck blew transmission.
Carb put on:

Cam (with new lifters):

Intake:

Torque Converter:

This motor also has a set of camel hump heads, which have been port/polished, and had a 3 angle valve job done on them. The engine got about 2,000 miles on it after these modifications and then I pulled the motor because I decided to go fuel injection. The motor ran great when it was pulled.

I am looking to trade this for a L98 with low miles, or cash if the price is right, but I would prefer a trade as I do need a motor for my Camaro.

I am near Westminster, Maryland

May I ask why you dont just convert to fuel injection?

I may be interested.

Eh, I figured it'd be easier to sell the entire working engine rather than parting out everything but the block.
That, and the guy helping me build my engine suggested I sell this one and just buy a roller block due to the slight efficiency gain with roller and the fact this one is already bored over.

It doesnt have the provisions for the spider for the roller lifters? I just think you could convert this motor for much cheaper then buying one.

yeah I would convert it to roller. just get a hotcam and lifter kit and drill and tap the holes for the spider retainer and get a cam button and swap to a speed density setup. It would be way less work to just switch motors though.

I highly doubt that a newer GM crate motor wouldnt have the provisions.
