1988 L98 Corvette motor

Alright guys, I am selling the motor from my vette. It's a stock 1988 corvette motor complete with tpi and aluminum heads. The motor runs fine I just replaced it with a ZZ383 motor. I am asking $1300.00 or best offer. This would be a pick up only item. It's at the shop in Oak Forest, Il. You can reach me at 773-551-6914 or you can email me at buc69d@comcast.net. I will also be watching the thread to answer any questions. Thanks in advance. I may be willing to part it out as a last resort but I am really looking to move the whole motor. By the way it had just over 93,000 when I took it out but it was still very strong and would smoke the tires at will with a 2:73 gear. Tim

Dave, I should have a better idea if I am going to part it out by wednesday. I'll let you know. You'll be first in line. What were you thinking price wise?

Well...the point of these corvette heads, is that they are aluminum and a little better than the camaro heads. You might make some enemies if you jump into other peoples for sale threads trying to sell your own stuff. Best way is to make your own thread.

Re: 1988 L98 Corvette motor

If you part out the motor - and if the bolts for valve covers, intake manifold, and accessories etc. are the torx style - I would like to take all those torx bolts off your hands.

Oh, and I'll also take the crank pulley if available too.

Thanks

I need to keep the lower crank pulley, but I will sell the torx fittings to you as long as I dont need to send them with the manifold or valve covers. I let you know. TIM
