Comp Cams 12-268-4 camshaft for TPI South TX
This is Comp Cams XE-268H-14 hydraulic flat tappet cam and lifter kit out of a HSR 350 with less than 500 miles and about 20 1/8th mile passes. This cam has an intake lift of .477 (1.5 rockers) and exhaust lift of .480 (1.5 rockers) the duration @ .050 is 224 intake and 230 exhaust lobe separation is 114. I still have the cam spec card which I will include. I switched this cam out for a little stiffer Lunati cam that is why the pictures are with a Lunati box. I am asking $75, may be willing to ship I would prefer pick up so there is less chance for damage.
HYDRAULIC-Best cam for modified 350 TPI Hyd. Hyd. 1800 to 5800 12-268-4 XE268H 268 280 224 230 .477 .480 114°
with improved chip, injectors, plenum,
runners and exhaust.

Do you know if your engine has a hydraulic ROLLER cam or a hydraulic FLAT TAPPET cam, because the cam I have is for a flat tappet engine. Double check your engine and let me know. If it does in fact fit your application then you will need to change the computer chip for sure, you probably have done the other mods that competition cams recommend, injectors, plenum, runners and exhaust.

This is off of a technical article from Comp Cams. (Look at the top right paragraph on the webpage)
http://www.compcams.com/Technical/Ge.../TechInfo3.asp
When installing a flat tappet cam in a block originally equipped with a hydraulic roller, it is necessary to change the entire system. The cam, lifters, pushrods and timing chain set must all be changed in this case, as none of the old parts will interchange.
Looks like it is quite involved. You will have to pull the intake, and timing cover for sure.
Let me know if you are still interested.

I am unaware of your experience level so I am trying to let you know what you are in for. If you are experienced then you know what to do. You never know what someone's abilities are unless they tell you or you see them in action. No insult to you I just try to be very specific in what something requires.

I can do the basic stuff, you know swap manifolds, runners, afpr, that upper end, but my neighbor does my engine internals, I seen him put together a motor that runs 10 flat in like 3 days! He knows his stuff, i'm still learning!

If you are still interested it is a very easy cam to tune the computer to. I had no problems which was nice since I was a beginner.
