FS: 350ci 385hp motor w/converted LT1 intake
Selling a 350ci hyd roller motor, motor was freshened up, has a stock crank, rods and Hyperu pistons, fully ported cast iron heads, 64cc chambers, 9.8:1 compression, custom comp cams hyd roller cam (nitrous grind) 218/230 dur @ 0.050 w/ a 114 ls, and a converted LT1 intake. Motor comes with a balancer, oil pan, flex plate to intake, you need a TB, fuel rail, injectors, distrib and accessories.
$1000 will seperate and sell without the intake.
Motor was all ready to go in a project car as you can see in the pics, but just have no time to finish it up. Motor will make 385hp and in a camaro/firebird with average bolt-ons and a proper tune, should go mid to low 12's.
I ran this cam in my '90 camaro, 355ci with modified cast iron LT1 heads and modifed LT1 intake, stock weight, 3.73 gears, th400 trans went 11.8's on motor and high 9's on nitrous.
Thanks
Tony

That engine bay reminds me of my 1984 Mazda B2000 truck.

Re: FS: 350ci 385hp motor w/converted LT1 intake
sorry for the delay.
cam has .510" lift with 1.5:1 ratio (this cam is the same thing as the cc-305 grind cam except that it is the nitrous grind version 2 deg's less on the intake duration. My camaro was stock weight in the 3650lb range.
Motor was freshened up, new bearings, cloyes true single roller chain, its clean and hasn't been started yet.

my question is how do you go from 11.8's in the quarter to 9's with nitrous with this combo with a cam that has 510 worth of lift? Just wondering what shot you were throwing at it?

Re: FS: 350ci 385hp motor w/converted LT1 intake
i was running a set of erson 1.7:1 rockers which give you .578" lift, but lift doesn't factor out a horsepower range. With nitrous, i was running anywhere from 250 and up, but 250 will get you in the 9's
