LT1 355 Fresh Rebuilt with billet Splayed Mains!
Engine bored 30 over to come to a displacement of 355 cubic inches.
Rotating assembly balanced with a nice new crank, forged pink rods and flat top pistons.
I had splayed billet mains added to the block and had it decked and align honed. It is deburred, sonic tested, magnafluxed, no cam and top end so you can build it to YOUR specs.
This engine is ready to have a cam and heads installed to make some serious power! This engine can easily handle 600-700 HP with hits of nitrous and possibly more but I never needed to aim for anything more then that much power at all.
LT1 Block is from a Trans am. Here is the VIN:
1012532725221****
2 GM 5.7 LG SGI
Better then stock and brand new but not high priced forged crank.
Rods are GM "pink" rods 905
Pistons are:
FM H345NP Speed-Pro Hypereutectic Pistons
350/ 9.4 64 cc / 8.4 76cc /flat /5.7 /Press pin/ring size 5/64, 3/16 / weight 590
The rotating assembly is all assembled and internally balanced.
The block has very nice -billet- splayed mains installed on the three main journals and it is very clean sitting in the crate.
I paid over two thousand for it and crated it up in oil. It is sitting pretty.
I was going to build this up and spray it with 200 HP nitrous to have an awesome daily driver engine that isn't terrible on gas and could Eat Vipers, Ferraris, Porches etc.
I am looking to get $1800. My five hundred dollar loss = your gain. Save on shipping and pick it up!!!
If you have ever had an engine rebuilt to your specs before you will find it usually costs a lot more then eighteen hundred dollars for a nice, strong, rebuilt block especially with the machine work done to this piece. That is just the icing on the cake and I wish I could keep this engine.. It does not have a cam installed so it is ready to have someone add a cam and heads and go! Makes things easier and your not paying for parts you don't need. Crated up and ready to go. Let me know!
realistic offers entertained.
