Complete Auto to M6 swap: 82-97 F-body
I have assembled all necessary parts to swap in a manual T56 into my 89' T/A - then I bought a house and got a mortgage. This kit will work for any SBC V8 from '82 to '97 since it's a T56 from a '95. The T56 and clutch have less than 500 miles on them. The guy I bought them from didn't want to drive a stick anymore so he put a TH350 in his Camaro.
Parts List:
*Built T56 - previous owner said he built it to handle 700 rwhp
*McLeod Street Twin Clutch w/steel flywheel - good to 1200 hp
*Brand New! Spohn Trans Crossmember with front driveshaft loop - built for a T56 into 3rd gens, powder coated red
*3rd gen Camaro/Firebird pedal assembly with ALL the electrical connectors and switches - saves you money on buying new switches!
*New adjustable hyd. master cylinder from McLeod for the clutch
*Stock hyd. master cylinder for 4th gen LT1 cars
*B&M Ripper Shifter with SLP shift ****
*4th gen manual shift boot for LT1 cars
*Stock 4th gen trans crossmember
*Stock LT1 bellhousing - I hadn't bought an SFI unit yet
*Clutch alignment tool, trans disassembly tool and shop manual
Price: $2000
I don't have a 3rd gen manual shift boot or a pilot bearing, but both are readily available in the aftermarket. I was going to remove the center console completely so I never got the shift boot. You'll also need the lower shift boot but once again, readily available.
These kits from F-Body Motorsports or Hawks Third Gen go for $2,000. My kit has a very high end clutch and a built transmission so those guys would charge lots more. Items are located in SE Grand Rapids if you want to inspect them. My phone number is 616.550.5615. I prefer you come pick up the parts but for the right price we can arrange a meeting place.
Thanks,
Matt

Not sure if you would be looking for a trade, but I have a set of Eagle 211 17 by 8's, (look just like TTII's) with some 245/45ZR17 BFGoodrich tires that I would be willing to trade for this..
If you are interested anyway, most likely not knowing my luck.

Can ship anywhere you're willing to pay for.
I can pack everything on one pallet and ship via truck, UPS will not ship something as heavy as a transmission. I will take some pictures tonight and post them tomorrow.
Thanks.

Did you have a chance to try the transmission at all prior to removal? I assume you don't know of any issues. Thanks again

Re: Complete Auto to M6 swap: 82-97 F-body
I had an engine block shipped to me via Dayton Freight and that worked out just fine. I was going to check with my previous employer to see if I'd get a deal, but I doubt it.
I have not driven the transmission, previous owner said nothing was wrong in the miles he put on it.

Damn, damn, damn... You've got me to thinking. If I do what I'm thinking of doing, I don't think my lovely bride will be liking me much for a couple of weeks. I might have to reside in the dog house.
