Re: Belltech p/n 2200 Dropped Spindles

Bump - Bumpety bump.

I would think that someone would want to lower their car the right way.
These are probably the rarest part one might look for for a Third Gen F Body.
These may be the last set one ever hears of - Very Rare - Belltech stopped producing p/n 2200 Dropped Spindles for our Third Gens. years ago... Last call

Any pics of the swaybar, and what would you mean by adjustable?

Re: Belltech p/n 2200 Dropped Spindles

Hello,

I do not have pics of the Dropped Spindles installed as it has been a couple of years since they were installed - I have regular pics though. Need some please send email and I will attach pics - That goes for the sway bar also.

On the 28mm sway bar it is adjustable because it has seperate holes on the terminal ends to set them soft or hard according to which hole they are mounted with. On the ends of most all Third Gen Sway bars there is only one hole, and therefore not adjustable.

Re: Belltech p/n 2200 Dropped Spindles

Hello,

Or do you mean a picture of a car lowered 2" by Dropped Spindles. I could take some pics of my Z28 that is lowered 2" to give you an idea of what a Camaro looks like with Dropped Spindles.

They really help with the steering geometry as it is the same with dropped spindles. With dropped springs the steering geometry is not the same, springs change that - also springs put quite a bind on the ball joints, and other steering parts...shocks/struts, etc.

The only problem I have found with lowering is minor tire rub when extreem lock to lock turning in a parking lot. There again I have 4th Gen Rims 2" out on spacers.

Send email addy for pics

Thanks for the replys, Ed.

Purplehaze you could always put Dropped Spindles and Lowering Springs on so you could push around beer cans with the front bumper - Or scrape up loose change with the Air Dam - Ha, Ha.

I thought for shure I would give the TGO guys first crack, but may have to list them you know where next. Yes this is a surprise that they're not gone already, oh well.
