VATS Resetting
#2
You have to know the number of the resistor pellet of the origional key which is stored in the module. You can replace the cylinder/sensor easily and use the same key/ resistor pellet. In other words, Your new key for the new column has to have the same number {1 to 15} resistor pellet as you origionally had. It will start right up with no reset proceedure. The easiest thing to do would be to remove your origional cylinder from your origional column and put it in your new column. Once a pellet code is learned by a VATS module its "burned" in and the only way to change the code is to get a new VATS module and burn in the new resistor code. If you reuse your old cylinder/key resistor, it will match and you wont have any probs. If I can help some more, let me know!
