Deleting a/c keeping blower motor.

I am wanting to know how I can get ride of all the wires for the a/c but keep the 2 for the blower motor so I can still have heat. Do I need to keep all the wires or can I get rid of some?

You won't need the A/C specific wires.

I'd just be sure that you keep any that are important to blower motor, like the harness for the resistor pack, grounds, and any large gauge power wires for the high setting. It's not just the two that go into the motor.

Was wondering this same thing with mine.
Is there a "Box" that just has the blower motor avalible somewhere?
That would delete the Evap core?
Never mind. Just found it

I deleted my a/c and have the heater only box on my car and also changed to the early style engine accessories. I couldn't get past the look of the compressor just sitting there or the delete pulley.

Re: Deleting a/c keeping blower motor.

all the wires
That's maybe ... 3. TOPS.

The ones for the compressor.

Not what I'd think of as a real high priority for downgrading a car. Once it's EFFFFFED UP that bad by having the AC hacked of, acoupla extra wires tucked back into the wire looms aren't gonna make or break a hack job.

Re: Deleting a/c keeping blower motor.

As long as it fits and is flat where it mounts, it shouldn't matter. Just a fiberglass box.

But I'd make sure someone has experience with one of the cheaper ones. If something doesn't line up it'll be a waste of your time and money.
