High Beam and Fasten Belts Indicator Not Working
Recently, my high-beam and my "Fasten Belts" indicators quit working on my 1983 V6 Firebird. I'm at a loss for what to do. For reference, all bulbs were changed a few months ago, and the PCB is new. Here is what I've tried with both lights:
High-Beam Indicator:
1. Taken off the instrument cluster. Replaced the bulb.
2. Tested the continuity between the two legs on the PCB. I found continuity.
3. Switched the high-beam on and off and notice the two connections on the connectors behind the instrument panel change from 0 to about 11V or so.
4. When reinstalled, the instrument panel never lights up the bulb.
Fasten Belts Indicator:
1. Taken off the instrument cluster. Replaced the bulb.
2. Tested the continuity between the two legs on the PCB. I found continuity.
3. Switched the ignition to RUN but not volts change at the connectors behind the instrument panel. The chime still works for an open door or the key left in RUN with the door open.3. Disconnected the connection at the female side of the buckle and cleaned it with electrical cleaner.
I'm at a loss and am hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
Thank you in advance!
