Tach to distributor

heg guys, so I bough a tach and I got the ground and power working. On my distributor there are two connectors one with 4 ports and one with 2. I’ve connected the green (tach wire) wire to each one and it still doesn’t read right. What am I doing wrong?

Re: Tach to distributor

If its just reading wrong, check your tach settings, they usually have settings for 4 6 or 8 cylinder engines.

I was putting it into the distributor and not the coil, so that was my problem. Whoops
