Hi everyone, i could use a little help, i have an 85 iroc with a 92 350, i just put a holley stealth ram on and a speed density harness, the check engine light is not working(it always did before with the maf harness and tpi) and im getting no power to the fuel pump. Iv checked bulb and the fuse and all relays are new. I know that the ls1 cars need the check engine light to complete the circuit for the fuel pump to run im not sure if the thirdgens are the same as the 4th

I am no guru who can tell you what pin or pins need to be moved , but I can tell you that I have read of folks having issues changing from MAF to MAP harnesses with needing to "repin" some connections before it'll work right . Note that if some of your pinouts are wrong & mismatched you could have blown a fuse that will need attention after the harness pinning sequence is put right . And although I can not speak for your ls1 car , I will promise you with 100% certainty that you can pull the gauge cluster in it's entirety from a third gen , with it's CEL still mounted into it , and start the engine just fine .
