Main Ground near Main 12v?? Is that ok?

I'm wiring up my main 2 gauge hot and ground wires, right there on the frame rail by the battery tray. For about 4 inches, I was going to have the ground and 12v hot running parallel. Is this cool? I know sometimes they suggest certain wires shouldn't be too close to 12v sources. Didn't know if that held true from ground wires.

....it's certainly avoidable if necessary, but I like the wiring looking all nice and neat if possible.

Battery cables really shouldn't matter. I wouldn't do this with any signal wires but your battery cables are ok. HTH
