Remote Solenoid S wire

Remote Solenoid S wire
Hey all,
Going to install a remote solenoid on sons car as we did do a wrap on starter and heat shield and still seem to much heat from headers and car wont start unless cool down about 30mins.
We did change out the starter as it did die on him but while doing that we notice no wire on the S terminal all were on the bigger terminal? so when we do the remote solenoid says to hook up the wire from the S terminal from original solenoid to new remote one but there wasn't one so do we just take all the wires that were on the bigger terminal and hook up to solenoid same way? All wires on battery side.
Thanks
Tim and Tyler

Re: Remote Solenoid S wire
The S terminal is the excite terminal for the relay to pull the contacts in. There should be a purple wire that goes to the S terminal. That wire will come from the neutral safety switch (or clutch switch if manual trans) and supplies power to the solenoid to start the car. You need to find out where the purple wire went! HTH!
