Parking light and reverse lights not working
My passenger parking light is not working. The turn signal works. I changed bulbs and got the same result. All the other lights in the front work.
My backup lights also don't work. I changed the bulbs and same result. I read a post that said to check and make sure the plug was plugged into the tranny. Anyone know exactly where to look?
Thanks!

Re: Parking light and reverse lights not working
I think I found where to look for the backup light switch (drivers side of the tranny), but I have no idea what could be wrong with the parking light. It's a 2 way bulb so not sure why the parking light wouldn't work but the blinker would ?

The left and right “parking” lights are wired together from the factory.
It sounds like the connection broke on your car.
With the “parking” lights turned on, use a voltmeter to trace from the left light to the right light to find out where the voltage stops.

Backup Lights:
The backup lights switch is located on the left side of the trans.
You’ll see a 2 wire harness going to it.
The wire colors are
light green and
dark blue.
You can verify if it’s the problem by connection a small bulb to the dark blue wire and ground.

How Come Some Drivers On The Street Don’t Know How To Make A Turn In One Direction Without Starting By Turning In The Opposite Direction?

Re: Parking light and reverse lights not working
So I went to try and check the wiring between the 2 parking lights last night and found the problem I think. Took the bulb out of the bad one and looked down in the socket. There's 2 leads (?) at the bottom and one of them is rusted and falling apart. I'm guessing the good one is for the blinker and the rusted one is the parking light that's not working. Found the part on amazon for like 13 bucks. Hopefully that was it.
Also ordered a new backup light switch. I found a Delco one for 7 bucks so figured it was worth it just to eliminate that as a reason.
