Testing Fan Relay

I can't find my fan relay anywhere. There is one next to the battery and some by the drivers side fire wall, but none of them have 4 wires and none of them have a green/white one that all of the boards here say it should. Which leads me to my question.

Is there a way to turn the fan on via the relay so I can ID it? If so can someone fill me in?

My fan has not been turning on and I want to rig it to a toggle switch before it starts getting hotter. And thinking something is missing on my vic is driving me nuts!

Re: Testing Fan Relay

If you literally just want to make your fan relay click so you can identify it, the easiest way is probably to unplug the fan switch and (with the car key on, engine off) ground the switch connection against something in the engine bay. Should turn on the fan, all being well. And if your fans aren't working, it might help you start to eliminate the temperature sender or the wiring.
