vats resistor wiring help
Found the 2 white wires have resistors jus need to know what wires to solder it too or how it goes... thanks any help appreciated

Unplug the connector and attach each end of the resistor to each terminal for white wires. The chosen resistor must match the key's resistor.

I made a temporary emergency one for my 98 that I keep in the tool bag. In a 3rd gen it is a "VATS" module instead of a "BCM". Other than that, it's the same. First photo shows the resistors that are combined to make the needed resistance. If you bought a kit of 15, you probably only need one resistor. The second photo shows the same, but cleaned up with a cover over the resistors. For permanent use, a better connection will be required.
