Help to identify wires/relays under dash (pics)

So I am a real wiring noob and I know I need to get a chiltons book or something soon but I need to know what these things under the passenger side dash wire to, what they do.

The black box says AC on it, the thing to the right that it is wired into (The white green and grey wires have been cut),the relay to the right of that and the relay hanging below to the left. The computer wires are to the right and thats been taken out.

The yellow box is your VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) buffer box. It splits the signal for the ECM, cruise control and speedometer.

The black box I have seen before but for the life of me can't remember what it does. Its wire colors would refresh my memory.
The relay next to it is the power-antenna relay.

Hope this helps.

The computer has been pulled out lou, do I need to keep the yellow box in for the speedo? No cruise control either...

AFAIK = As Far As I Know

Yes, you need to keep the yellow VSS buffer box. Without it, your speedometer or cruise control won't work.
