What is this button, real simple?

What is this button, real simple?

The button on the left of the picture, i intially thought it was high beams because it looked like the same picture on my tahoe but no, thats on the signal shaft thing, so what is it?
I heard it was a bass booster or something but I hear no difference and i thought those were discontinued in like the 89 firebird so i'm confused. Mine is a '91 Trans Am GTA.

Rear window defroster is in the middle of the pic. to the left looks like the fog light switch

Ok, that was one of my ideas but I dont think I have fog lights, I just have the turning signals down below the pop ups...

could be that switch panel was replaced. or perhaps your car came with fog lights originally. I would check behind the panel and see if the switch is wired into anything. if not I would bet on the panel was just replaced at some point in the past

All GTAs came with foglights didn't they?, they are in the bumper openings.
