Engine: 350 - 50 over, S/R Torquer Heads
Transmission: T56 - Originally a 700R4
Axle/Gears: 9 bolt posi with 370
auto dimming, onstar, compass rear view mirror
Hi does anyone know what the white dot button does on this mirror?
I picked one up from an auto recycler and have it installed, but this button doesn't seem to do anything.
When it is first powered up it displays a degree signs and a "C" and a "F" for temperature, but there is only one line for display and the compass direction is displayed there. I thought maybe this button is to switch from temp to compass and back again?

found out it is the phone button, white dot or phone symbol has same functionality, still don't know about the temp display and how you can choose temperature or compass?
